Revenue Management is a critical part of Kokua Hospitality’s management expertise. By way of example, in 2013, Kokua invested in a pricing optimization platform in response to our conclusion that brand and off-the-shelf revenue management systems were not performing at its potential. Such platform gives Kokua the ability to:

  1. Provide a measurable lift in a hotels Revenue Penetration Index score.
  2. Be tailored to the specific needs of a 3rd party hotel management company.
  3. Maximize revenue and also profit.
  4. Optimize every revenue source within the hotel.

In 2014, RM Advantage launched and is making an immediate impact on each of our hotels' bottom lines.  In fact, in the 2nd quarter alone, we saw a 4.2% increase in the hotels Revenue Penetration Index score. 

Working hand-in-hand with our sales teams, our revenue management professionals create and carry out a process-oriented procedure for each property we manage. Unlike other management companies, our team is part of our corporate office where they can focus on maximizing revenue through their intimate knowledge of the competition, carefully monitoring room demand, and taking advantage of available inventory in the form of increased rates.
